Center for Evidence-Based Medicine and Clinical Research (EBMCR) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing the quality and effectiveness of healthcare through rigorous scientific research, evidence synthesis, and knowledge translation.
EBMCR brings together a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, epidemiologists, statisticians, and public health researchers committed to strengthening healthcare decision-making by promoting the principles and practice of evidence-based medicine. EBMCR conducts high-quality clinical and epidemiological studies, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses to generate reliable evidence that informs health policy and practice.
In addition to research, EBMCR provides research consultancy services at both national and international levels, supporting institutions, governments, and organizations in designing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based health programs. EBMCR also aims to improve population health and develop future public health leaders through research, education, training, and collaboration with national and global health agencies.
EBMCR supports the establishment of health facilities that serve as hubs for evidence-based practice—integrating research, education, and patient care to demonstrate the real-world impact of evidence-driven healthcare.
Furthermore, EBMCR develops practical tools for researchers and policymakers, offers capacity-building and training programs, and fosters global collaboration to strengthen the evidence ecosystem—empowering healthcare professionals and decision-makers to make informed, data-driven choices that improve population health outcomes.
EBMCR Vision
To advance global health by promoting evidence-based decision-making, improving population health, establishing health facilities that embody evidence-based practice, and developing next generation leaders in public health.
EBMCR Mission
To advance healthcare quality and population health by generating high-quality evidence, promoting evidence-based decision-making, establishing and supporting health facilities that model evidence-based care, providing research consultancy, building public health capacity, and fostering national and global collaborations that translate research into meaningful health impact.
EBMCR Objectives
Generate high-quality evidence: Conduct rigorous clinical and epidemiological research, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses to inform health policy and practice–independently or in collaboration with national and international organizations.
Promote evidence-based medicine: Strengthen healthcare decision-making by fostering the principles and practice of evidence-based medicine among clinicians, researchers, and policymakers.
Establish evidence-based health facilities: Develop and support healthcare centers that integrate research, education, and practice to demonstrate, train, and promote evidence-based healthcare delivery.
Provide research consultancy and policy advice: Support governmental and non-governmental organization, national and international institutions, and other stakeholders in designing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based health programs and policies.
Build capacity and leadership: Offer education, short-term courses, training, and mentorship programs in public health, epidemiology, systematic review and meta-analyses, and health financing research to develop the next generation of public health leaders.
Develop practical tools: Create user-friendly resources and tools to aid researchers, policymakers, and healthcare professionals in applying evidence effectively.
Publish and disseminate research: Produce high-quality global and public health research in national and international journals, and organize symposiums, seminars, conferences, and workshops to engage stakeholders and disseminate research findings.
Foster global collaboration: Promote partnerships and knowledge-sharing across disciplines, sectors, and countries to strengthen the evidence ecosystem.
EBMCR Values
