The Center for Evidence–Based Medicine and Clinical Research (EBMCR) is inviting applications from qualified and motivated candidates for the following positions under an ongoing research project titled “Burden of Neonatal Infectious Diseases.”

Available Positions:
• Research Assistant — 2 Positions
• Research Intern — 2 Positions

Duration: One (1) year 

Work Location: Dhaka and Rajshahi (Hospital-based and Field-based)

Working hour: Full-time

Educational Qualifications:
Master’s / MPH / BNSC or equivalent degree in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, Epidemiology, Clinical Epidemiology, or related disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications:
• One or two (2) publications in relevant fields
• Previous clinical or public health research experience
• Skills in data collection, data management, and research documentation

• Proficiency in statistical software and data analysis by STATA and R.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct hospital-based and field-based data collection
• Assist patient enrollment, follow-up, and documentation
• Perform data entry, cleaning, and database management
• Assist literature reviews and research reporting

• Supporting monitoring and quality control of research activities

• Coordinating with healthcare professionals, field staff, and research supervisors
• Assisting in manuscript preparation, grant applications, and dissemination of research findings

• Performing any other project-related tasks assigned by the Research Director

Salary: Negotiable
